Most of this release is about keeping Hub and Workplace Training in step, so that people changes you make in Hub carry through without leaving duplicate or out-of-date accounts. The course status and time fixes mean the numbers you see on a learner's dashboard, in your reports and in User History agree with each other.
Features
Due Date column on two reports
The Training & Assessment report and the Agile Style Training report now include a Due Date column for each user's assigned course. This date is calculated from the user's last assessment completion plus your company's retraining schedule for that course. It remains blank if the user has no completion or the course has no active schedule.
Fixes
- When a user's username or email was changed in Hub, Workplace Training created a new account and left their training history on the old one. Workplace Training now recognises the user and renames the existing account, so their history stays with them. The audit trail records the change as old name to new name.
- Some users set to Inactive in Hub stayed Active in Workplace Training, even after a re-sync, including users who had previously been merged. Deactivations now apply correctly, and duplicate records that caused the problem have been cleaned up.
- Pressing Enter after typing a username, instead of clicking Log In, showed an error and did not take the user to the sign-in page. Pressing Enter now works the same as clicking Log In.
- When a learner answered "No" to the office workstation question in a Hybrid DSE course, the knowledge test was skipped and the learner's dashboard showed the course as Incomplete, while the Training Dashboard and reports showed Complete. Some learners also saw 100% on an unfinished course, a completed course stuck on Continue, or an error on Take Your Assessment. The learner dashboard now matches the rest of the platform, completed courses show View, and Take Your Assessment opens without an error.
- On View/Edit User, the Activated, Deactivated and Created times in User History were showing an hour behind local time for dates in British Summer Time. They now display correctly in local time. Existing entries from the summer months will appear an hour later than before; no stored data has changed.
Known issues
Possible duplicate account if Hub update not yet live
If a username or email is changed in Hub before Hub releases its matching update, Workplace Training may still create a duplicate account for that user. Customers will be informed once the Hub update is live.
